GORGEOUS Lakland USA JO Birdseye Maple Blocks

I hate to sell this one as well!

In addition to the unique WAY COOL BEM blocks, it also has a rare one-piece very light ash body.

The weight: about 8 pounds.

It is in near mint condition and has always had Sadowsky flats on it. Also, the rosewood they chose is GORGEOUS!

I've also taken very good care of it and it comes with the white Lakland case which is in great condition as well.

$2000 for it shipped (PayPal preferred). This bass was purchased new in Feb, 2009 by the original owner.

I also have a brand new Perloid Pickguard that just arrived from Lakland available if desired.

You get this from The Butler? Funny, the pictures clearly show round wounds on the bass, or is it just me?

that picture was probably taken when royce got it from lakland. Those are lakland steel rounds, but I'm sure he changed them almost immediately

Yep, that's who I bought her from.

She arrived to me with flats strung on her.

I have not weigher the bass. But it is so light and comfortable I had no reason to question the original statement.

Hi lakin757,

Thank you for your interest, and your offer.

At this point, I think (it SHOULD be clear to me by now!) I have pretty well settled on the bass that is the one for me, a Fender Custom Shop Custom Classic Jazz IV.
That's the bass I grab going out the door for the gig, and that's the bass that seems to feel "right" to my hands.
So that is really the only bass I would be interested in trading for.

Thank you though!

NP. Good luck with your search/sale! This bass looks EXACTLY like TimmyC's bass from RATM!

Very beautiful!

Good eye. The only difference in this one & his, is that his has a 1.6" neck & this has the more common 1.5" jazz neck.
It's a great bass. The inlay's are beautiful & the neck feels great. The one piece ash body is very cool. If I remember it was either 8 or 8.25lbs. Very light.
