Gorgeous MM clone - 5 string Turser

Sign in to disble this ad
This is a Jay Turser JTB-445, candy apple red metallic. It's one of the prettiest basses I've owned, and has a sleek, fast neck. Right now, it's strung with Chromes. I bought it new, and the only mods I've made are a nut replacement.

There is a barely visible one inch surface scratch on the upper horn.

$150 plus shipping costs to continental US only. No trades, please. Job layoff necessitates this sale.

Greater than, equal to, or lesser to an OLP? I kinda miss my OLP now that I sold it off.

I've never played an OLP, so I can't compare. But the sound is more on the mellow side compared to a MM.

Yup, Dunlop straplocks. Maybe I can put together a sound sample tomorrow, if I have time.

The tuner looks weird, or is it just me?

Really, just the tuner reversed? Is this how it came?

Looks really nice. I'm gonna check some specs before asking it all here, and then get back.
