Gotta Make Room........

The Fender is SOLD, Price DROP to $400 shipped on the Axstar

I hate to part with these but I GOTTA make space. RC Heli's are taking over bass space in my office

First up.......

80's MIJ Fender P. It has an added J pup that was PROFESSIONALLY installed, looks factory, looks perfect. Overall this bass is in beautiful shape for it's age. VERY minor fretwear. The gold hardwear and pickguard looks new. There are two small chips on the front that are in the black part of the burst, one on the arm bevel and one near the bridge.......probably easily hidden but I'm not touching them There's also some minor dings on the back, not through the finish.

Everything works perfectly, the action is low, the neck has an awesome feel. Not sure what pups they are but they sound fantastic and the P/J configuration is very versatile. It was a full P width nut, this ain't no P wannabe

It comes with a worn but functional tweed HSC.

$450 plus 1/2 shipping.

Second up.........

Ibanez Axstar.

This one is in amazing condition for an 80's bass. I got it from a local TB'er and he really took great care of it. I hate to see this one go but I'm playing my Yami BB and P basses only these days

This is the active version. The tone knob controls a very 80's sounding almost phase/compression sounding tone. Rolled off the bass sounds passive........but rather HOT This little bass has HUGE tone. I basically use the volume and blend and use my pedal board to set the tone I want. For a slap solo, crank up the the tone knob

Overall it's in super clean condition. Honestly, it could be sold as new at GC. VERY slight fretwear. The stickers are still on the pickups. The only visible wear is thumb wear on the heads of the black pickup screws!! No dents, dings, scratchs or any blemishes that I can see.

Everything works, the action is low, the neck plays like a dream. It takes regular strings. The tuner/bridge system works very well and it stays in perfect tune. It's very light and feels like NOTHING on the strap.

It comes with the SMALL OHSC.

No trades unless you have an interesting Yamaha BB neckthru. I could add cash as needed for the right deal but really should move these out for $$$ I'm pretty firm on these prices as I have some local interest that could very well pan out this weekend.
Thanks for looking.

haha...moving from a PC to a mac takes some getting used to....but it's worth it my man! Got my first mac a couple of years ago and love it. Still have to use a PC everyday at work, but much prefer the functionality of the Mac.

great looking basses BTW. Love that PJ.

'86 - '87 according to the Fender site.
Lots of interest in just over 4 hours on this beauty.
If I don't pull the trigger first, someone's going to get a sweet Precision.
