Graphite necked Stingray FS/FT

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a Status graphite neck on a scratch made Stingray copy, loaded with a Seymour Duncan MM4.3 and the Basslines 3-band Preamp.

First the good:
This bass has the sweetest, lowest action of any bass I've EVER played. The notes flow with just the lightest of touch. It has a VERY thin and tiny neck, stable as a rock... barely even needs tuning after weeks of playing... the SD preamp gives a pretty great range of tones out of the single Humbucker.

And now the BAD
This bass has been played a bit... has one ding on the back of the body and a ding right over the 12th fret on the neck...

I can get more detailed pictures later, or upon request.

I'd like to get about $450 out of it, but really I'm probably more interested in trades at the moment...

Foot with only 4 fingers? Weird, but cool bump!

PS: Awesome avatar, love Fallout games (esp. 1 and 2)!

Would you mind taking a closer pic of the headstock, from dead on? And what make is the body? Do you know what type of wood it is?

I can take some more pictures of it tomorrow(if I can get my camera to work again)

Yes, I made the body from scratch, using alder as the body core, and used a maple veneer on the top, I made a mistake with mixing the color and its actually a VERY dark brown on the edges, (instead of black, as I wanted), but you can only tell in very bright light.
