Arrow GRECO !! SEMI - HOLLOW bass. MOJO ! Kubiki style laminated neck. Made in Japan !

Sign in to disble this ad
Here's a bass that's full of mojo.
It's a made in Japan GRECO semi hollow body bass.
30.5" scale neck, 1 5/8" wide nut
Volume, tone, PUP selector - Tone and selectors should be sprayed with contact cleaner, which I don't have. They work fine, though.
The neck is like a Kubiki - It has tons of laminated maple pieces instead of just one block of maple. VERY COOL.
New strings.

$375 $299 shipped !! Priced for a quick sale...

- It is light. About 7.5 - 8 lbs, is my guess
- The neck is like a pbass neck but comfy. It feels good. As I said, the nut is 1 5/8" wide and the neck is proportionate.
- The neck is straight as an arrow. Also, like I said, it's like a Kubiki neck. It is made up of multi laminates, not just one chunk of maple. This neck will never warp.

How would you describe the tone?
I know that's tough to answer, but try if you can.

It sounds like a hollow body bass. I would say it's almost a mix between an electric and an upright bass. It has nice sustain and a natural warmth to it. Almost hypnotic...

If you're looking to be Mark King on this bass, forget it. It's feeble at best for that.

Also, as I said, the pots need attention. The switches cut in and out, and the Tone knob doesn't seem to do anything.

The output as it sits, I believe, is coming from the neck pickup. It is very high output.

For me, personally, this bass looks cool on the wall. I can't play it. I am used to Peavey basses that have UBER low action.

If you want to look VERY cool on stage playing folk songs and simple 3 chord songs, then this bass could be for you. If you want to "shred" you'll be very disappointed...

Hope that's about as honest of an answer as you'll get.
