TRADED!
FOR TRADE or SALE $475 obo

This bass is from Traben's awesome CHAOS series. Like-new condition and soooo comfortable to play. Amazing tone and gorgeous looks.
As far as trades go, I'm mostly looking for 4-string, fretted basses.
A few considerations: Peaveys, franken-Fender or franken-Squiers, Ibby ATK's.
I'm open to "unusual" stuff and creative offers. Run it past me...

Trade can be +/- cash on either end

Here are the specs:
  • BRIDGE: chaos internal bridgeTM
  • SCALE: 34” four string
  • CONSTRUCTION: bolt on
  • PICKUPS: two rockfield™ humbuckers
  • ELECTRONICS: aguilar® amplification obp-3 pre-amp
  • CONTROLS: three-band eq with volume, three-way switch and mini toggle for coil tapping
  • BODY: basswood
  • FRETBOARD: rosewood
  • NUT: chrome plated brass

quite interesting - what about the neck - jazz or p-bass neck dimension? Never heard of the pickups - what bass sound would be comparable?

The neck is 1 1/2" at the nut. I don't know what to compare the sound to, but it is a really deep, FAT tone. Not twangy in the least.

It's been awhile since I sold my Traben, but I thought the Rockfield pickups were pretty neat. It wouldn't be too much of a stretch to say they sound similar to the MusicMan pickups.

Pretty sweet. I can vouch for those Rockfield pups. Simply amazing. That's where the deep, fat tone is coming from. Hell, it's got an OBP-3 for cryin' out loud.
I put a slightly used set of Rockfield jazz pups in a parts bass I built and they had the BEST tone. Similar to SD Antiquity's as in vintage, but it was a passive bass with an Ash body. Punchy, Deep and Fat.
This is easily worth the price you're asking EDB. GLWTS!
Wish I had the extra dough and/or room for another bass.

These are nice basses. I believe the nut on that is bone, however, as they changed from brass to bone I believe last year.

Good luck with selling it, I had to literally give mine away. You'll notice the burled maple top, every bass looks different, and I sold mine on eBay and because the top was more like yours than the "stock" Traben photo the jag howled "SNAD or significantly not as described" to Paypal and he got a free bass, on me. Thus why I don't sell on eBay anymore as who wants to support welfare cases like that. Who says crime doesn't pay, if you do it right. Anyway good luck with selling it they are very tonally versatile easy to play basses.

Thanks Lillo. I am surprised this has not been snagged up yet, but I have no problem keeping it if it doesn't!
