Gretsch Thunder Jet in MINT condition. The optional pickguard is not even installed yet and all the plastic film is still on the control/cavity covers. Original hard shell case with plush interior included. I bought this from a well respected talkbass forum member about a year ago and pretty much just admired it since but have not been playing it or any other electrics. He will recognize the ad copy and I used his pics(thanks).

Heavily chambered body and a KILLER signature tone. These are amazing basses in all respects - craftsmanship, tone, feel, and looks. If you are looking for a like new Thunder Jet and want to save serious $$, this is the one. Here are some features from their product info:
• Color: Mahogany stain with black top
• Body Wood: Mahogany
• Neck: One-piece mahogany
• Scale Length: 30.3"
• Machine Heads: Sperzel locking machine heads
• Fingerboard: Rosewood

• Controls: Two volume (one per pickup), master volume, master tone

Awesome bass at a great price. Truly one of the few bass out there not trying to be a J or a Pbass. I had one and wish I hadn't sold it. Plus its super comfortable to play.
