SOLD
This is actually my first bass. Bought it in a pawn shop in '94 or '95.
I've removed the frets and filled the gaps nicely since then with Purpleheart veneer and gorilla glue, then sanded clean. Last time I used the bass, it had SD 1/4 pounders installed sounded great.
I'm not sure what type of wood it is, but it's very hard and average weight. The workmanship on the bass is pretty nice, as you can see how clean cut the pup cavities and neck pocket are. The control plate holes actually have brass threaded inserts! It also has 24 frets, so it's perfect for the fretless extended range.
There is a broken bridge mounting screw in the body, but can probably be removed with needlenose pliers.
If I didn't have already so many basses, I'd put a black badass bridge on this and some decent pups and have a decent fretless bass (I already have another fretless, so this one is extra)
Included is everything you see in the pics (note, no pickups, no straplocks).
I'll also include an old set of Rotosound flats.
$80 Shipped in the US. (shipped with neck removed)
