I've got a '64-65 Hagstrom Futurama bass that I had plans to restore. My money is tied up in other things, and this is just sitting around.
The Good:
-Its got the original electronics that haven't been touched and are intact.
-Has the original wooden bridge and strap holder pegs.
-Neck is nice and straight. When I got the bass, it had an old set of strings on it and played well.
-The rosewood board is pretty nice. Not dry and not abused. Lots of fret life left.
-Tuners all work well
-Original stickers are intact
The Bad:
-The paint (obviously)
-Its missing the bridge Pickup
-its missing the "holder" that keeps the jack in place under the plastic
Someone can fix her or part it out...the buyers choice. If you do fix her up, keep me in the loop..I'd love to see the final outcome!
