Hamer USA Cruise bass 2-tek 4 string

Sign in to disble this ad
I have an excellent condition Hamer USA two tone burst 4 string 2-tek for sale. Passive Duncans. TI flats. Almost in mint condition. A couple dings. One miniscule ding on back of the neck. OHSC is also excellent.
It weighs 9.35 lbs. Read the reviews. This bass plays and sounds terrific but I will admit it needs a tort pickguard. That is it's only 'flaw'. No issues whatsoever.
SOLD

I don't know how to accurately date these basses? The Hamer website wasn't helpful. I believe the Hamer Cruise bass with the 2-tek is a mid 90's USA production out of Arlington Heights, IL.

Take a look under the "How can I determine the age of my guitar?" section of this page. The first digit of your serial number will tell you which year your bass was produced. Without seeing that, the larger original bridge plate on this one would probably make it a '95 or '96. Beautiful instrument!

This-is-a-great-bass bump!

Yours is only 9.35 lbs -- that's light for one with the '95 - '96 bridge.

I have a '95 5er and a '96 fretless with the same bridge, and I would really love to have one like this, but alas, my wife is right, I have reached my bass quota for the next few years already.

But I look for these all the time anyway, and I almost never see a 4-string fretted on here, let alone a near-mint '95 in that finish.

You might want to edit your first post that says no trades... I'll offer my '84 rock-maple body Carvin with EMGs and an original sans-amp to start the "bidding"
