Hanewinckel Vintage Ceres 6 Fretless

Up for sale is my Hanewinckel Vintage Ceres fretless 6. I bought this from another TBer last year and it's a simple and beautiful bass. Ash body, three-piece quartersawn maple neck with lined pau ferro fingerboard. Bartolini pickups and NTMB preamp. I've also got a couple extra saddles for the bridge. Pete likes to string his basses with taperwound strings, but I prefer DR Sunbeams on my fretless basses so he sent me a couple of saddles that he machined down to account for the difference in string height caused by my using non-taperwound strings.

Asking $1100.00 plus shipping. Comes with a Hanewinckel strap and Protec gig bag.

Tradewise I'm interested in a comparable fretless 5.

I know.

What I'm going to do is get one of my two fretless basses fretted and then sell the neck-through fretted bass. I love the sound but it's a bit heavy for me. I had spinal surgery a couple years ago and while I'm pretty much recovered, there are still a few pains here and there...
