Heavily(!) modded SX J-Bass (Black block inlays, binding; old style headstock)

This is a great bass in excellent condition with no issues. It's an SX that has been heavily modded and features the original style headstock, which seems to be popular amongst the kids today with their loud music, and Dan Fogelberg, Zima, hula hoops, and their Pac Man video games. The neck features black block inlays and a black binding.

Here are the mods that have been done to the bass to improve the original components and hardware:

- Replaced original pickups with Dimarzio Model J pickups. Provides significantly better overall tone and output.
- Replaced original pots with CTS pots, including drop orange capacitor
- Replaced original output Jack with Switchcraft
- Replaced original control plate with Fender plate
- Replaced original plastic knobs with chrome knobs
- Replaced original bridge with Gotoh bridge
- Replaced original tuners with Gotoh res-o-lite tuners
- Replaced original strap buttons with Dunlop straplocks
- Shielded the pickup cavities, control cavity and underside of the pickguard to eliminate any noise

I will include the original bridge as well as the bridge cover, if desired.

As you can see, I've put a lot into this bass and I'm taking a rather significant loss, but I need to "thin the herd", so my loss is your gain.

I'll include an ill-fitting gig bag that's actually made for a larger acoustic bass, but which will, at the least, provide additional protection for shipping.

Asking $275.00 shipped to the lower 48 states only, please.

PM me if interested.

Are you absolutely sure about the shipping limitations? I could cover extra.

I don't know where Belleville is in Ontario but if you live close to a border I say have it/any item shipped to a shipping business and drive over and grab it. I do this all the time and it is much cheaper/easier than having something delivered to Canada.
