I purchased this Peacock Blue Peavey Cirrus USA five string new from The Bass Place earlier this year.
I had it converted to fretless by Carl Pedigo (Lakland Basses) in Chicago. He removed the frets, filled the fret slots with a nice light colored maple, then proceeded to EPOXY coat the fingerboard, level and radius the board, install a new, properly cut nut, etc. He did a spectacular job!
I then replaced the hardware with all new black Hipshot Ultra-light tuners, a black ABM bridge, black knobs, and black strap buttons/locks.
I then had the Peavey/Millennium pre-amp (with variable mid range sweep) installed to top it all off.
In the interest of full disclosure for the OCD types like me; during the epoxy process a tiny smear of epoxy got on the back side of the upper horn as well as a a tiny scratch. I tried to take photos of it but they are so small it was difficult. Carl said that the epoxy and scratch could be buffed out.
I'm asking $1200 for this bass, shipped anywhere in the lower 48 in its original Peavey hard shell case.
This bass has had all these significant (and pricey!) mods done for you! All you have to do is send $1200 via PayPal and I will ship it the day the funds clear.
Please, no trade offers. Thanks and feel free to PM me with any questions.

If you have any questions, feel free to PM me.
Thanks! |

So, I'm dropping the price to absolute rock bottom. I need to sell this bass.
The first offer at or about $1000 gets this shipped to their door. It includes the new case, all the case candy still in the original packaging (manuals, cards, wrenches, strap locks, etc.), a protective slip that protects the fingerboard from the strings during shipping/transport, and a new set of DR High Beams.
Hit me up and let's make a deal! |
