Highway One P (sunburst, covers, tugbar)

$650 paypal echeck or USPS money order shipped CONUS in hardshell case.
$600 local pickup (Northwest GA). I can deliver to Nashville, Chattanooga, Atlanta vicinity.

Strung with TI flats, approximately 2 years old.

Some changes have been made to this instrument:
  • Previous owner polished the finish with a light wax, so it is shiny (instead of "flat" or dull like they are stock).
  • The original pickup replaced it with a new Fender "Original '62" vintage style pick up.
  • Previous owner swapped the Badass bridge for a vintage style bridge (comes with the vintage bridge only).
  • The replacement tortoise shell pick guard was routed out for access to the truss rod. The routing job is not perfectly symmetrical, but it makes it much easier to adjust the neck (don't have original guard).
  • Covers and tugbar added.

Hmmm...I just realized I have no photos since adding the covers. I'll take some and post them tomorrow.

Plays great. Sounds great. I'm cutting down to two basses so this one is going.

More pics. Also, to clarify, the strings have been on about 2 years. The serial number indicates the bass is a 2007 model.

If you're not into flats I've got some new diadarrio or dunlop nickel rounds I could put on.

There are some detail shots here: Highway One P pictures by nutdog - Photobucket

I tried to examine for imperfections and document with photos. There are 3 indentations on the upper edge of the body where your right arm might rest. They didn't break the finish. The worst is easily visible in the photobucket photos but the other two not as much. There is another very slight indentation on the front of the body. There is a hairline crack in the pickguard around the jack. I don't think it goes all the way through. Some very slight swirling in the back.

I would say it's in very good to excellent condition (not mint) that I would expect from a "used but not abused" bass. I played it yesterday in church and will hate to see it go. Low action. Just a hair of relief and good intonation. The neck is easily adjustable.
