Hofner Icon Beatle bass with extras and upgrades $325 shipped

I have a sunburst Hofner Icon Beatle bass that I'm not using, so it needs to go.

The frets were leveled and polished before I got it. It play great.

laBella Beatle Bass flatwounds installed. Knobs upgraded to cream teacups.

The only issue with the bass is that the neck side strap button screw broke, so I relocated the button when I installed straplocks. Dunlop straplocks and Levy's black leather strap included (not a Beatles or vintage style strap). Honestly, it sits better with the new location to me. Less neck dive.

Also comes with a gigbag.

Detailed Pictures coming tomorrow.

Here's a link to a youtube video showing the Icon with LaBella strings (not mine):

I have found that with my amp settings it sounds more warm than the guy in the video, but you can definitely hear the hollowness, especially with a pick.

But, having played a real Hofner, this one does a great job of sounding the part when played with a band at 1/10th the price.
