This is one of those "I didn't think I'd ever sell this bass" moments, but my Carvin SB5000 has now become my main bass.
This Hohner is an incredible value for the money: quilt top maple body, neck through, active/passive switchable. This bass can roar!
I added the Dunlop strap locks. Notice the double strap buttons at bottom; strap lock is only on one.
It was my go-to bass for quite awhile, and it's in excellent condition. There is an appearance of tarnishing on the bridge, which is visible in the photos.
The strings are brand-new DR neons - less than an hour playing time on them. I recently tried some Carvin flatwound strings on this bass, but they didn't work well. I think this baby needs roundwound strings.

Hohner Musikinstrumente GmbH & Co. KG - B Bass
Price is $425 shipped. For trades, I would consider a 5 string lined fretless 34" scale bass.
