SOLD $500 to Belgium (what a deal!)
I upgraded the pickups and preamp to EMG, and it sounds killer. Unfortunately, I just don't rehearse enough to get comfortable with the 5th string, and I'm trying to raise money for a new rig.
Since the preamp was changed out, the guitar cannot be switched from active to passive and, as such, the light (next to knobs) doesn't work because it's not needed. The sound on this guitar is GREAT. I truly wish I had more time to get comfortable with this guitar because I love the sound.
$450, including shipping & Hohner Hard case.

Since purchasing this, I haven't gigged it once, and have only played it at rehearsal 2-3 times.
There is a small crack at the top of the neck (see picture). It's not near the fret board and isn't growing, but I put a dollop of super glue on it just to be safe.
I also moved the front strap holder, as the original design (on back) tends to lean the guitar forward.

| | | | Does this bass only take doubleball strings (like previous old models)? Or is the bridge modified to take single ball standard strings? |
