-SOLD- FINAL CHANCE !!! $450 shipped I have a pending offer on the bay for $475 shipped. I would really rather have this bass go to a TB'er. I will go $450 shipped for someone on here. Only holding out until Wed. night, then off it goes.
Well, time to thin the herd a bit. I am reluctantly selling gmy Hohner B2AV 5-string. This bass is in amazing condition and you really have to see the quilted cherry burst finish in person to appreciate it. Just to let everyone know, it has single coil EMG select pickups, so you do get a little of that typical single coil hum. It will be shipped with a hard shell case and all the case candy. I am only selling because I bought a Steinie Synapse awhile back and just don't play the Hohner anymore. The bass goes for $729 new and the HSC goes for $150. I am looking to get $475 shipped.
Info from Hohner website: http://www.hohnerusa.com/index.php?323
I can post more pics if anyone wants them.

That being said, the sustain is awesome, especiallt with the EMG selects. As far as balance, I use a wide leather Levys strap and have never really had a problem. Not sure what the balance would be like with say a nylon strap, but that is why I switched to the wide leather straps. Even with regular body basses, I could never stand the way the nylon strap use to move around. There is a full description from the Hohner site here: http://www.hohnerusa.com/index.php?323 where they state that the body and neck are perfectly balanced. I can try it out with a nylon and let you know if you would like. |

and a free bump. | I had one of these back in '87, when they first came out.
They balanced great, and weighed nothing. Especially compared to my MM Sabre, G&L SB-2, 4001 Ric, Peavey T-40, and T-20.
BUMPIN' an nice Hohner. |
