Well gang, I'm gonna do it...
It is killing me as this bass is truly a gem, but I just flat out never play it anymore.
I am selling my Natural Ash SX Jazz. As it sits right now I have DR Flats (45-105) on the bass. I have added the black Jazz knobs instead of the Chrome that came with the bass and I have an unslotted BAII bridge mounted on this bass.
This neck was one I had the frets professionally done by TB'er Scott in Dallas. This neck is an absolute joy to play. The neck profile is a but chunkier than your standard Fender jazz but not bad.
The only issues I have to report is there is some slight bubbling of the finish over the inlay blocks. It is very slight and very difficult to get to show up in a photo. This has been this way for some time and does not effect the playability of this bass.
Otherwise it is in perfect condition, almost like the day it came out of the box!
The neck and headstock are absolutely beautiful with lot's of figuring to the maple and the neck looks as good as several figured maple necks I have seen that were made that way. this one was luck of the draw! The body blank was matched very well and is quite honestly even more beautiful than many clear finished basses I have seen and handled.
It will ship in an original box, and then double boxed.
With the BAII I am asking 130 plus shipping.
With a stock SX bridge I am asking 100, plus shipping.
Please, Con US only.
You do the math if you buy this with the BAII, you can sell that bridge for far more than I am valuing it here, replace it with another and still be up on the deal.
Here is a photo, more to come...it is the bass on the right-
