Hey, I had this before Mike, I got it in a trade from swpyne. This is a unique hollowbody and very nicely made for this price range. Deep acoustic sound but instead of the wispy piezo you've got magnetic pick up tones. This bass lives in both worlds, it is not limited to 'acoustic duoland'. I personally miss the feedback I could get, I would harmonize with our cellist
