If I weren't in a rare time where I am not GASing (since I just bought a new bass) I would snatch it back |

- the top and back are highly figured and spalted beech with padauk core. those lines on the top aren't cracks in the wood, but the actual figuring...really breath taking. like a REALLY fancy coffee table (lol).
- padauk/walnut/padauk 3 piece neck-through.
- fingerboard is rosewood with stunning abalone position markers and a brass nut.
- gold hardware (badass II bridge, sealed gotoh tuners) and schaller strap buttons.
this is a rare chance to own a bass by one of the most highly regarded luthiers in the business. remember that gorgeous bass that jerry jemmott plays in the jaco vid? that's a rivera. this bass is no joke!!!

| | Registered User | | Join Date: Feb 2003 Location: New York | | | I'll have to measure the nut when I'm home, but it is pretty thin. I'd prefer cash, but am willing to entertain trades and/or cash + trades (but no cash on my side).
If you trade me, don't be shocked if I end up listing the bass you trade me shortly after the transaction. I really need the cash at this point, so if I don't sell what you trade me, I'll be selling something else. |

I have an early 70s Fender jazz but I'm not sure I can or should part with it (it was my bass in college - sniff sniff). You can let me know if that's even in the ballpark and I'll keep thinking/dreaming. Good luck either way. DM |

| | Registered User | | Join Date: Feb 2003 Location: New York | | | the Morch sold, going to leave this one for sale for a bit. I do still need a set of V-drums and a decent keyboard for my jam room (among other items). if this doesn't sell really soon, i'll just keep it and raise the funds for the other gear a different way.
if you are on the fence about this one, act now. reasonable offers accepted. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
