SOLD!!!
This is a rare 1977 Ibanez 2404 double neck, made in Japan. SG Style with 4-String Bass & 6-String guitar necks. Here's an old catalog page with specs: http://www.ibanezwiki.com/download/a.../131350/16.jpg
The bass side has been modified (converted to one pickup, non-original pickup and bridge, pickguard covering the old neck pickup hole) but the guitar side is all stock. Got this instrument from a friend of mine who was a guitar tech to a bunch of different stars, so it's been professionally maintained and everything works perfectly. It has been gigged regularly, so it has it's share of nicks, dings, finish checking/cracking, but there is no damage into the wood or any sort of headstock repairs. Comes with a steel flight case that used to belong to Lindsey Buckingham; it's the right size, but the interior isn't perfect for this guitar/bass. Some custom foam and you'd be good to go.
Ive seen these price at anywhere from $1000 - $3500 (ridiculous). One just sold on eBay for $1275. So I figure $850 shipped is fair given the condition/mods. SELLING FOR $850 SHIPPED IN THE US. International shipping is no problem, just PM me for a quote.

I'd be all on this if I had the dough. I always want a guitar to mess with, but can never use that GAS money on anything but a bass... this would solve that problem!

I even have (what looks like) the correct bridge pickup from an old Ibby lawsuit jazz copy that I modded to a P/MM a few years back. I'll just need a neck pickup, a bridge, and the neck pocket area switch (and someone who knows what the switch did)... oh and someone to wire it all up, should be a fun and rewarding project . PM sent!! Let's make this happen .
JJ
