Hi, folks – a long-time member/lurker who's making my first TB classifieds posting. Up for sale is a short-scale (30”), full hollowbody bass with floating bridge and 2 mini-humbuckers, with gig bag. It’s strung with Thomastic-Infeld Jazz Flats. Has a very nice 3-piece set neck. The nut is 1-5/8. Purchased by me new in 2007. It’s in 8/10 condition – it’s been gigged but has been treated well. The plating on the pickups is somewhat worn, and the back side of the lower bout has two cracks in the clearcoat – not visible while playing and they are stable. Also, I replaced the original MOP tuner keys (2 of which cracked - bad design, Ibanez!) with gold-type keys which match the rest of the hardware. If you haven’t tried one of these, they’re very cool – like a Hofner with a big body (think Hofner President). I’m tall, and the size of the bass is very comfortable – not too small, and the reach (far end of the neck) is pretty close to where you’d expect a long-scale bass. More photos if you like.
