This thing is crispy mint. I actually cannot find a single mark on it. Got it in a trade here on TB. This is a
very nice axe that feels quite substantial with a great build to it.
- Ibanez BTB 1206E - NTF
- 35" scale
- 17mm string spacing at the bridge (you can shred on this!)
- Mahogany body w/groovy maple top and back
- Bartolini pickups (18v 3-band Bart pre w/3 pos mid switch)
- Maple neck with two stringers (pau ferro?)
- Thick slab of rosewood or pau ferro for the fingerboard
- Neutrik locking jack
- Satin Finish
- Very good condition hardshell case
- Not sure about the weight, but it is totally manageable imo
-
NO Elixir strings. They are from the original post.
These Korean made models are the best of the BTB series. I believe the new models are made in Indonesia. If you don't mind me saying so, this is an excellent deal (a lot of guys are trying to get a grand for these). The bass balances well and has a great sound with a pleasing "ping" to the notes. I like basses that feel substantial and this fits the bill, but I am going to stick with my TRB-6 for now.
I know there are quite a few of you who would like to get started slamming on one of these yesterday. You really can't go wrong here.
$750 Shipped to the lower 48 States. US Postal Money Order preferred for obvious reasons.
- Did I forget anything? I will be a bit busy the next few days and will not be able to ship until this coming Monday, July 19th. But I will keep an eye on the thread and my inbox as best I can.
Thanks!
