Ibanez SR400QM - Local Sale NY/NJ/LI/CT
 

Well, I've over-extended myself and need to pay for other stuff.

Up for sale is my beautiful 2008 Ibanez SR400QM. I bought this after trying it out and was blown away by how good it felt and sounded. Light weight with a figured maple top.

This bass is currently setup as a tenor (tuned A - high C) with light Fodera strings (.28, .40, .60, .80). Combined with the slim Ibanez SR neck, this bass is effortless to play. Chords sound very nice and the onboard EQ delivers some great tones. These are not the CAP pickups, but I still prefer these to the Bartolini MK-1 PUs. If the tenor thing isn't for you, I can string it up in standard tuning with Elixir Strings (.45 - .105)

I recently did a full set-up on this - frets polished, fingerboard oiled, intonated, adjusted pickup height and neck.

Condition is great, just some light swirling where my index finger hit the body when I slap. There are no dings, gouges or other scratches as I've never even gigged this, just used it in my home studio. Soundclips will be coming this week.

Looking for $300. Paypal is preferred but cash is king.
