I'd rather have a BEAD tuned 4 string for my current project, so I'm going to send my Ibanez SR506 to someone who can show it some love!
It plays as good as it sounds. Currently strung with DR Black Beauties and sporting a fashionable patch of flaked finish from my slapping, it looks pretty sexy too. See for yourself:
But wait! You can hear how it sounds too!

That was recorded going direct into my computer's poopy soundcard. You can hear the slap tone on this bad boy at about 2:00 in.

I'd prefer to trade this. Looking for a more traditional looking and sounding bass--definitely a preference for a P-bass. A list of musts:
--4 strings
--Passive
--Black, Red, or Sunburst finish
--Thumpy Neck Pickup
--Able to handle B-E-A-D tuning without much hassle
A list of wants:
--Age and wear. If you've got a "players bass" that looks like it was hit by a few trucks in the early 80s but still plays/sounds like a dream, I'm interested.
--Ideal trades would include (but are not limited to): 1983-84 Squier MIJ P-Basses, 80's T-40s or P/J style knockoffs.
Sale-wise, I'd like
$400+shipping $325 shipped! I would really prefer a trade or trade+cash, so don't expect any wiggle room on the outright sale price.
