Ibanez SRT800DX trans black...

For sale, one Ibanez SRT800DX 4 banger. Made the transition to five stings, and between that and my Growler and Fortress, this guy just isn't getting any play time.

The good: Fantastic tone, versatile pre-amp, five piece neck through construction, and practically brand new condition - no gouges or belt buckle rash. Tuning is stable. No electronics noise. Neck is fast. Great action.

The bad: One pinhead sized dent on the back of the neck about 10 inches up from the body, a couple of minor finish scratches on the back, and some on the front on the bass side of the neck pickup from my calluses. All finish scratches should buff right out if you're willing to put in the time. Also, some idiot at the store cranked on one of the tone knobs and damaged the plastic on the inside so it had a tendency to spin on the shaft of the pot, but a warp of electrical tape on the shaft fixed that right up. Pot functions perfectly. I kept meaning to upgrade to better knobs, but never got around to it.

I'm going to yank the Schaller strap lock buttons, so you can put whatever you prefer to use on there. Which you'd probably do anyway, right?

Bass will come with that used TKL case you see in the pics, along with the shamwows for padding.

I'd like to get $800 $775 $750 $725 $650 $550 $500 out of this, plus $30 for UPS insured shipping. Paypal is fine. Looks like these normally go for around $900 off of Ebay, without a case.

Enough of my yapping, time for the pics. All of those little flecks on the bass are lint from the shamwows - the finish on this bass is great. If you require further pics, just ask.

Thanks for looking and stay safe!

MaddAnthony_59: Yeah, I've been really impressed with this piece. It is hands down the best Iby I've ever owned. If it were a five string, I'd be keeping it.
