Here's a project for you... Black Ibanez SRX300. Body and electronics are in great shape (LOUD and clear last I plugged her in), but the neck is in pretty poor shape. It's playable, but it had a hack job defretting and has various glue spots etc. I thought about getting a new neck, but the neck would cost more than the bass did in the first place!
If you can get / perform a refret on the cheap, this would make a pretty good bass. Even as is, maybe someone will find a use for the parts.
Asking $50Will take $40, just need this gone. Strongly hoping for a local (Chapel Hill, NC -- near Raleigh / Durham / Greensboro) sale. Sorry, no pics.
