Interesting Situation

I've got someone local that's interested in trading me an interesting bass for the bass that I have been trying to trade away. Here's a link to the original thread:

FT : Schecter Stiletto Custom 4

What he's got:

Fretless American Fender P Bass that's been hot rodded into a P/J with active EMG's. It's worth about three times more than my bass. The input has been placed on the side of the guitar and where the original 1/4" jack was, he put the control knob for the J pup. (I can have pictures up later this evening)

Here's my thing though. I don't need a fretless, but what I do need is a good cab or amp, or both. I'm estimating the value of his bass at about 1200 or 1300 (the customization job alone ran him about 350).

If anyone would be interested in a 3 way deal going on, I'd be more than willing to see the whole thing out. I'm looking for a good 8 ohm 410 or 212. Along with that, i'm looking for an amp that'll push two 8 ohm cabs rated at 350+ watts a piece. I'm needing something that can put out some monstrous sound and can handle the low B on my fiver without farting out.

Hit me with what you've got! I know there are some of you guys out there that are going to be interested in this fretless P/J!

The bass he is getting rid of is barely worth what yours is because the modifications necessary to convert it to a P/J ruin the resale value.

Hmmm

I suppose you're right. I just can't seem to trade my bass away for any cabs, lol. I'm trying to figure something out. Trying to find something that might be in a little more demand than my Schecter.
