I went on a tear and acquired a handful of jazz basses looking for the right fit. Consequently, I'm keeping two and letting these threee go to better homes. All three are terriffic instruments. I have plenty of pics, just pm your email address and I'll get them to you. Fender Active 24: $475 $450 Shipped SOLD
Super surprised as the quality of this bass; impressive MIK construction. 9lbs
9.5 of 10 condition. Really nice finish all around.
seymour duncan pickups
has stickers for fretboard blocks. Looks neat, doesn't get in the way at all. I thought I take them off but I think it looks good. I'll pull them off if you wish.
Original thread: Fender Jazz 24, active, sunburst, Duncans, MINT! Fender Custom Shop Jazz IV: $1850 $1,750 shipped

As new, all candy included with the G&G case

Great, great bass. More and more impressed with G&L construction with each one that moves through my hands. Finish is remarkable and shows zero wear. This passes as direct from the factory new.

biggest downfall - imo the headstock! |

Thanks! | The G&L jazz basses are utterly amazing! IMO. I have had several american standard Fenders and while most all were good basses, there were only a couple that felt and sounded truly "great." my G&L however, felt that way right out of the box and the others I have seen and played are equally as impressive. The quality control is amazing as well.
I'm a jazz bass guy, but loved the quality of an Ernie Ball Music Man, just wasn't my sound though. The G&L is on par with EBMM but has that single coil jazz sound that I love. Quote:

biggest downfall - imo the headstock! | The G&L JB that is for sale only has a 4 bolt neck. However I agree that it is much more secure than a Fender.

| That's cool to hear. I have always wished that EB made a J Bass and didn't know about the G&L version. After being utterly disappointed in anything I played made by Fender USA in the last 8+ years I finally took it upon myself to build my own. If my money wasn't tied up in this build I'd be all over this thing.
