Jon Hill Bass For Sale

Sign in to disble this ad
For Sale a Jon Hill Bass that I recently received. I had another bass with Bartolini pups so I put a brand new EMG PJ5 pickup set with new BQC system for the preamp. I am really liking the new pups but need to move this to fund some other projects not bass related.
Bass weighs 8 pounds 2 ounces according to my digital scale. Comes in an almost new Gator gig bag. Pics at the link below.

Tiny bit of rash on the back as shown in the pics and that is the only marks I can find.

$800 shipped and insured to the 48 states.

No trades.

Thanks for looking!

Oh MY!!! That's gotta sound and play amazing!

Hill basses are really well made and he knows his stuff. The EMGs must make it even better (he usually does Barts).

Free bump. I've yet to get my hands on a Hill bass, but I've heard nothing but good (great) things about them. Ever since Stefan Lessard started playing them, I've been hankering for one in the worst way. I've seen DMB live twice in the last year, and Stefan has played his Hill bass for a majority of both shows. Even more than his Ken Smith!!! And Stefan has used a very nice lineup of other basses through the years from custom Warwick Dolphins to Modulus FBs and Quantums, and more. The fact that his Hill bass is one of his #1s REALLY saying something.

And they're hand made close to me in Akron/Cleveland, OH!

Specs I know are 35" scale, I think 18 mm spacing or maybe even 17mm but I will have to measure for sure. Feels somewhat tighter than a 19mm Elrick but not much. Don't have a way to measure the neck radius. Not a lot of info out there on these basses spec wise or at least when I bought it I couldn't find much.
Let me try to get some measurements. Probably be tomorrow.

Looks like the string spacing is 17mm, 35" scale. No clue on the neck radius.

If you have been looking at this bass and would care to make an offer please do.

Otherwise it is going into a consignment shop this weekend.
