Soo... I just bought a Fodera Yin Yang and will now be needing to thin the herd to make room for it. Theses are a couple of great basses.
Ernie Ball Sterling HS 4 string - $1100 shipped
This is a very nice bass. Anyone who has played one can attest to this. Nice satin finished neck and tone for days. The tone on these is really something special. This one is in very good condition has been played very little. Also comes with original EB case.
Alembic Epic Ltd Edition #42 of 60!!! - $1200 shipped
This bass has a crazy story behind it... This was the very first "nice" bass I ever owned. I was playing at our church pretty much every sunday and one night someone guy broke in and stole a ton of stuff... one item being this bass.. I was crushed. Crazy part is 3 years later, life starts getting rough and someone reaches out to him from the church (not knowing he was the one who broke in)... well he goes to church and finds the Lord and confesses to breaking in and stealing all this stuff. It just so happened that he was a bass player and this was the only thing he kept.. so he returned it! CRAZY!
Now to the sad part... When he took the bass, he scratched out and put wood filler over the serial# and removed the Alembic LTD brass plate and just put a blank brass plate in its place.. so sad. So that is the down side to this bass... I have all the original purchase paperwork from the first owner showing sale and serial number as well as a bill of sale from him to myself. I spoke with Alembic and for $50 they will remake a new original LTD brass plate with serial and model# on it. The bass plays amazing and has tone for days. I have played many Alembics and this one was always the most comfortable and fun to play. Anyway, if you guys have any other questions just post them here or email them
to the email I provide below. Also original case is included.
Here is a post of one that sold earlier.. shows what the brass plate should look like.
