This bass was actually sold before I posted, but I sold it to another TB'er who contacted me through craigslist from out of state. Since he was a TB'er with good feedback we made a deal. I was going to list it here if it didn't sell on craigslist anyway.
It's an '87 kawai krb 105, koa body, graphite neck with phenolic fretboard, in great shape. I got it used at GC a couple years ago and it had the original receipt in the case. I changed the brass schaller hardware to black schaller hardware, laminated the headstock and back plate with koa veneer, and installed a hipshot string tree. The string spacing at the nut wasn't even so I used epoxy to reshape the slots on the A and D strings. The space between the A and D was bigger than the others. I recently put a ding on the tip of the headstock when I hit a cymbal stand
