Ken Smith BMT5 - Rare/Exceptional

Hey all,

For sale only: $4,800.00 + Shipping and Insurance.

Up for sell is a rare '97 BMT5. All upgrades on this one (i.e. 7 pc. neck and body, exhibition grade quilt maple top and back). This bass is just exceptional in every way. Condition-wise, I'd rate it as Excellent +. Comes with the OHSC, tools, polish and cloth, and strap. Plays and sounds amazing!

Please, NO TRADES, serious inquiries only, ok?

Details:

Body is 7 pc: Exhibition Grade (5A) Quilt Maple/Walnut/Maple/Tropical Mahogany (core)/Maple/Walnut/Exhibition Grade (5A) Quilt Maple.
Neck is 7 pc: Maple/Bubinga/Maple/Bubinga/Maple/Bubinga/Maple
Fingerboard: Gaboon Ebony. 18mm.
Electronics: 9V 3-Band Smith Pre-amp.
Weight: 10.3 lbs.

Differences? One difference would be the 7 piece body and 7 piece neck. Another difference would be the Ebony Fingerboard: This one has the 'more rare' Gaboon Ebony Fingerboard. Another difference would be the 5A Quilt Maple Top and Back.
