**SOLD**

Up for grabs is my beloved Black Tiger. It's been a good run but I've decided to stick to more 'conventional' sounds i.e. Jazz/Precision basses. The bass has been well-cared for but it inherited some minor knock marks from previous owner at the neck heel. This bass is capable of such low action and firm string tension its amazing. None of my other basses pull this off! I only wish my F bass plays like this... Oh well, can't have it all in one bass I guess

Tuning pegs are in a 2+3 configuration, individual series/parallel switches for each pickup. Passive pull-up on volume pot (passive vol is equal to active eq flat) which is very useful. I've found that Sadowsky Blue Label Steels (40-120) work very well with this bass, but YMMV of course. The bass was crafted in 2006. Serial number: 5TN534***. 18V BMT pre with dip switches.

I'm asking for $3100 + shipping obo. Bass comes with original hardcase and case candy, incl. Ken's secret sauce (wax/polish)

Additional pictures at: http://s13.photobucket.com/albums/a2...Black%20Tiger/

Partial trades now entertained:

- Fodera Wooten Classic + cash on my end
- Vintage Fenders with original pickups +- cash

You're really getting rid of this? I am very blessed to have a Black Tiger 5! As much as I like my Peavey Cirrus 5, my Smith is the best bass that I have ever owned or played without question!

Good luck and I hope there are no regrets down the road.

I'm getting alot of Sadowsky Metro trade offers but no one willing to part with the right amount of cash along with it. I'd much rather wait for the right deal than to lose more than what I already had in this bass. Bump!
