Off the market for now (until I figure out if I really need to sell her)!!!!!! NO TRADES!!!!!!
So why on earth am I selling my no 1? Well, have to pay bills post holidays and I have an '83 Fullerton (also for sale) that plays and sounds about as good (although I prefer the neck profile and looks of this one to the '83).
Bass is 99% original. Only non-original items that I'm aware of are:
strap buttons
nut (new bone)
input jack (replaced with a new USA switchcraft)
Very low action and no buzz. The best damn P neck I've played. Thinner front to back profile than most P necks. B neck (1 5/8ths). There is a small crack at the E tuner peg hole (it's completely stable and not going anywhere and looks like it was done decades ago. Also a small crack at top of walnut stripe on back of neck, but also 100% stable and not moving and been there for years and years.
Truss works GREAT and the truss end (phillips head) is not boogered up at all. In great shape!
Body is ash and lots and lots of mojo! This bass is a BEAST! Pickups and original pots (and knobs) work 100%. No issues. All date to '75.
An amazing P! Bet that 99.9% of you have not played a better playing and sounding one. She's that sweet!
Intonation is dead on and currently setup with DR Low Riders (they seem to work well with this bass). Price for this? May seem a bit high (or maybe not?), but I will not let her go for less that $1850. I've seen other original '75 P sell for more than $2K, and this one is a PLAYER! And I mean that in a great way. It is truly an AMAZING playing P. Certainly in the top 5 that I've ever put my hands on.
Just a note that if my Fullerton P also listed here on TB sells before this one does, this will be taken off the market and stay in the stable.
TBers with multiple positive feedbacks only please. Payment will be Paypal eCheck, Money Order (USPS), Bank Cashiers Check or personal check (will wait for funds to clear) or cash in person.
Off the market for now (until I figure out if I really need to sell her)!!!!!!

I bought the case for this after the bass (came with a different case when I bought her). It's the correct era case and is in excellent shape. All original with the exception of one latch replaced. All latches and hinges work properly and case ends are in very good shape (see pictures in link posted in body of thread)
