Not sure of the exact date, but it looks like mid-90's to me. Maple neck-thru with ash wings and flame maple top, and matching flame on the headstock. Excellent condition; the only cosmetic issue is a finish chip at the tip of the headstock (see pic). Active electronics, passive bypass mode, and the rear bucker has a coil splitter. The neck is perfect, very straight, and action is extremely low. Best of all, it's a featherweight at 7 lbs 15 oz.
This bass almost plays itself, lots of great tones, and in particular is a slap monster.
Oh, and did I mention *IT'S GREEN!!!*
Comes with a quality hard case. Carvins are always good bang for the buck and with an exceptional one like this even more so.
$650 shipped in the US. Thanks for looking

Hey, Northeastern PA? Anywhere near Silverdale? My brother-in-law lives there and we come down a couple of times a year.
Thanks for the bump

ps Green Thursday is a tradition in my family, brought over from Germany (where my mom was born). The Thursday before Easter, and so-called because we always ate spinach on that day. I dreaded this day as child, but strangely adhere to the tradition now. Spinach pie tonight! |

Bump for a green machine that I wish I had the funds for.
I've got a feeling I'm going to be in trouble when I see something like this come up after I finish my degree. |
