I have a Kingston MTD, in CAR, maple neck that I dont use. No big nicks, neck is good, and I 've replaced the stock pup with an Aero ( +$225).
Its very much a MusicMan type of sound, and the Aero pickup gives it more bandwidth for sure. Yet, I guess I'm a jazz bass sort of guy, and still dont dig it as much as I should. It's not a good backup for my standard JoBo.
The neck is to die for, and more comfortable than my Lakland JoBo5. 24 frets to boot, which I truly like and will get me again someday. The fretboard has a nice grain to it. The frets aren't worn bad at all, yet thre is a small ( and I'm being anal here) buzz around the 11-13th fret if I get the strings down as ridiculously low as I prefer them.
Anyway, Kinsgston MTDs trade for around $275-$350, and the Aero pickup was $225 ( the best there is imho). But I can't imagine this trading at over $500.
$450 SHIPPED. w gig bag, properly packed in box.
It also came with an EMG 2 band preamp, which I removed when I put the Aero in, as I prefer passive, especially with good pups. The preamp will stay with the bass, and if I was to keep it, I'd fit it back in. The bass is very light, likely less than 9 lbs easy. OEM pup come along too.
head stock tiny chip ( out of focus)
belt rash and scratches right below the contour. That "J" thing is NOT a scratch. One of the screws for the back cover is stripped.
PayPal is fine. Thank you for looking. I'll try and get some better pics up in the next day or so.

I'll get some new pics today if the sunlight holds up.
As far as trade bait, if someone has a Geddy 5, I'll open my Paypal account up for ya! It has to backup the Lakland in the avatar, hard act to follow.

Whoever buys this is getting a great (AND LIGHT) bass.
