I had my fun with this bass for about a year, bought it practically new. Its got a nice pearl block inlay maple neck with white bindings, solid nice ash body, and currently it has Fender noiseless jazz pickups in it. I will include the originals in this deal, but the fenders sound fatter to me. This also has an original black pickgaurd, I spent 60$ on the pearloid blue pickguard, but it wasn't too slap resistant so theres a slight wear mark on it. Original Preamp in it, but I had an AMC filter pre amp for a while (worked based on a WAH effect/envelope filter, but it was pretty gimmiky so i sold it).
Straight neck, good action. only issues is 2 minor slight blemeshs, and the knob I lost when switching back the preamp (which actually sounded better than the AMC fyi) was replaced with a temporary one (see pic).

Looking for trades mainly, but I may entertain cash offers.
Trades I'm interested in (and can add cash) are:
4 strings
modulus jazz
ernie ball stingray/sterling
fender or glob p basses. (looking for glossy maple neck...)
fender jaguar
dingwall combustion

FYI

I had a buyer a while ago tell me that this bass brand had some issues.
Ken Smith helped design this bass, its much like a fender. What happened was they outsourced the production to asia, and the basses were well made at first, but there was a year that they basically stopped caring at that factory and many faulty basses were made, with faulty electronics, or just random problems. Brooklyn Gear (the makers) recognized this and put a stop to it right away by moving their business elsewhere. When this happened the basses were then made with even higher attention to detail.
I asked them about my bass specifically and they told me that the serial number on mine indicated that it was not made during the faulty period. I was impressed when I heard and felt this bass as it felt better than a lot of fender standard jazz's. The tone was great too.
Just thought I'd get that out there.
