KSD705 Jazz Bass $650.00 Shipped w/ bag

I'm going to close this thread for now. Looks the bass I had me eye is sold. May repost it at a later date. Thanks

Trying to raise some cash to acquire one of the many nice Lakland Joe Osborns that have been posted here lately. This KSD705 has the ash/maple combo with terrific sounding Nordstrsnd NJ5FS pups and Audere JZ6D preamp. I've been impressed with the sound and the solid build quality of this bass. Currently sporting a solid black pickguard. The previous owner did a great job on the mods IMO, added the Lakland bridge and reshaped the headstock. Specs below.

Scale: 35"
Frets: 21
Nut Width: 4.6cm
Nut Spacing: 9mm center to center
String tree: Chrome barrel / bar type
Bridge: Lakland
Bridge Spacing: 19mm center to center
Frets: Medium jumbo
Tuning Machines: Large clover key / open back
Hardware Color: Chrome
Neck Wood: Maple
Fretboard: Maple with block inlays
Body Shape: Standard jazz shape
Body Wood: Ash
Finish: Natural see-thru
Pickguard: Solid black
Pickups: Nordstands NJ5FS
Electronics Cavity: Paint shielding

Approx 10.5 (eat your Wheaties)

Reshaped headstock and removed the KSD logo. I dig it. You be the judge.

Upgrading these basses yields real monsters. I have fralin single coils and a j-retro deluxe, and haven't run into many jazzes that keep up with it!

Bump!

Wow, I really dig this. $650 seems like a steal! If I had the cash, I would be all over this as a backup for my Nordy.

Thanks ctoddrock. I picked this up on TB 6 to 8 months ago. This sale may be reconsidered because the JO I had my eye on is on hold for someone else. This is starting to feel like a sale I will regret. You know that sick feeling in your gut? Think I may hold on to this for now.
