I never used it with a bow but upon reading several reviews online it is said to have a great tone when either bowed or plucked.

It uses the Fishman BP100 transducer pickup, the same used by many upright players.

no it is not. just coincidence that we are both from houston. the one on ebay had a few dings in the neck and mine is in mint condition.
