I had this bass custom built by Lakland 2 years ago. I sent them the serial number of my 55-94 Deluxe and asked them to build the exact same bass, but 4 string and black. They did an absolutely perfect job. This bass sounds amazing and plays perfectly. I just don't need two of the exact same bass anymore and I'm keeping the 5 string. I asked to have the Bartolini pick-ups and pre just like my older 55-94. I just think they sound better after I a/b'ed them versus the Lakland Pickups. The bass will ship in a Lakland fitted hard case. I need $2000 for the bass otherwise I'll just keep it. I just want some new gear pretty bad.
Sorry for the crappy pictures, but the bass is in perfect condition. |

Even though the action was a bit high, it was still quite easy to press down the strings, even in the upper range.

Also, nut width?
Thanks.
