Putting this back up. Beautiful Lakland Skyline 44-02 with Barts. New DR Fat Beams. Hard case. Great bass, but I need a 5 for my church and smooth jazz gigs.

$725 shipped US only.
Trade plus my cash for a Sadowsky 5 string Jazz only.

I can't tell you if it has been plek'ed. I bought it used and am not sure of it's history. All I know is its a killer bass and I am torn. I need a 5 string for my smooth jazz and church gigs and I just can't afford 3 basses.

Yes, I am torn by this sale. I really like this bass but I just can't afford to keep it and the Rob Allen and the Sadowsky MV5 that I bought this morning. I'm going to really try this time to make the Sadowsky work. That sounds ridiculous I suppose - having to make a Sadowsky work - but you know my history.

I mean, a Sadowsky MV5 (jazz pups, active/passive preamp, 5 string) should cover just about any gig really. They sound amazing, the neck is very comfy. What more could I want? After all the basses I've tried, I think people - and myself - liked the Sadowsky's the best.

If I can't make a Rob Allen Mouse and a Sadowsky MV5 work for any gig I have, I probably need to quit. No more micro nit picking about "my sound" with these basses. I just need to play. Hopefully that will happen. Hopefully I can MAKE that happen.
