If you have always wanted to own a Lakland 5-string fretless bass, this is the time.
I had two for sale, now only the 55-01 left both gone. It is clean as a show room bass, no dings I can see, with very light signs of playing and very little wear on the fingerboard.
The fingerboards was 'dialed in' by a great local luthier, to make sure all notes sound uniform. #1: Lakland Skyline 55-01 Fretless Sunburst
It is made in Indonesia in 2008. I had the pickups upgraded to Nordstrand Big Splits and the pre-amp to a Bartolini US-made NTMB, with a swtichable mid center frequency. Bass is completely stock, with the original Bartolini mk1 pickups and pre-amp.
Normally I am not a big fan of sunburst, but this is a gorgeous paint job, on top of a beautiful piece of ash.
It weighs 9.7 lbs on my wife's accurate digital kitchen scale.
Price: $650 shipped CONUS, Paypal only. SOLD!
--- #2: Lakland Skyline 55-02 Fretless Natural - GONE
I am pretty set on basses and amps, so I don't think I will be interested in any trades.
The reason I am selling it is because I need money and I got my fretless needs covered by a US Lakland.
It is an awesome bass, I just had the opportunity to acquire this US-made one, and my wife made me promise I would sell the Skyline.
So here it is, ready for you to play, with lots of mwah!
I don't have a case or bag specifically for it, but we can work something out.
Let me know if you have any questions and thanks for looking.

Alternatively someone can buy it as is and make a profit selling them later. Even better so I don't have to deal with putting them back. |

Now asking only $650 shipped CONUS.
Tomorrow I will create a new thread with new pictures. If, of course, the bass is not sold. |
