I bought this off of a touring bassist from the Nashville area a couple years ago. It has been a great bass (mostly a backup) time to move on to somehting else. Lakland 5 string neck,(I think I was told from a 55-94), mounted on custom body made specifically for this neck by a west coast luthier. Aero 5 string soapbar pickup, EMG electronics (BQC control with a toggle switch), Badass 5 string bridge. Tortoiseshell pickguard. The bass has a few nicks on the body & headstock (this is a touring bass played by a least 2 professional bassists) but is in good shape. has been professionally setup and maintained, plays & sounds great. looking for $650 shipped

Bass weighs just under 8lbs on my bathroom scale, very light bass for those 3 or 4 set nights. not sure how to tell the diff between USA & Skyline basses, thought all the skylines had the 'Skyline' logo on the neck. The toggle is a 3 way tap switch I believe, one-both-the other is how it seems to function. Its a really cool instrument for what it is and the price. Currently on hold pending Payment

Also, the Skyline tuners will say "Hipshot Lic". You should also be able to see where the "skyline" was sanded off the front and the "crafted in Korea ( or Indo)..." was sanded off the back.
