Lakland 55-01 Nordy p/u and sadosky pre

As much as I hate to let this bass go I am in a bad way financially and never get to take her out anymore. Got the bass back in march from iotanet. This bass is in great shape. Burst finish ash body and maple fretboard. The pick ups are Nordstrand big splits and the preamp is a Sadosky with the vtc. Has the satin finish knobs that really set it off in a minor way. The tone is freaking awesome, that about sums it up. If you like jazz type basses this will put a smile on your face.

Not sure of the weight but its not very heavy even for a 55-01. It will also ship in a cream Lakland case thats beautiful in spite of the minor damage to it.

850 shipped in the US Paypal or money orders accepted. If you have questions let me know!

I will add more pics later

This bass was mine and it's killer!

Here's the thread I posted right after I modded it: Another Modded Lakland ...

The ONLY reason I let it go is that my wife bought me a Stealth Bongo as a surprise Christmas gift. Anyone in the market for a smoking J-Bass shouldn't pass this one up.

Here's an "Action Photo" of me playing the bass before I sold it.

Great looking axe....I got 2 in natural one with maple board and one with rosewood. They play like a dream. I want to add the Nordies with Audere v/v pre. Love the Lakland necks and ergonomic body design. Fits like a glove. Good luck and free bump....

PM for ya

Do the big splits have a big sound or thinner like single coils? I have never tried them. Always looking for single coil tone without the noise. Havent found it yet.
