Lakland 55-02 CAR/Maple - SOLD

Sign in to disble this ad
This is a Candy Apple Red Lakland 55-02, made in Korea in 2003. Electronics are that era's original Bartolinis. Has a maple fretboard with crazy low action.

I had this white pearl pickguard, which is Jeannie's exclusive design, made for another bass. But when I got this one, I thought it had to have this guard. The cool thing is that I had the guard made without holes and it is attached with double-sided tape. So if you want to take it off you can, but I just think it really makes the looks of this bass.

There are no dings or scratches to speak of. Weighs 9.8 lbs in my wife's accurate digital kitchen scale.

I don't have a case or a gig bag specific for this bass but if you're interested we can work something out.

On to the pictures:

I would like to get $975 for it, Paypal only, shipped CONUS. I am in need of money and trying to thin the herd, therefore I am sorry but I can't entertain trades.

Let me know if you have any questions and thanks for looking!

That looks like an old 55-02 of mine. I don't think it is, but that one was about that age with the same sort of pickguard.

Love it..... Why do companies always discontinue some of the best colors? I'm close by in San Antonio. If I even think about it... I'll be needing a good lawyer too. That is sweet.
