Lakland 55-02 Deluxe Local preferred

I have a gently used Lakland 55-02 I'd like to see go to a home where it will get used. It's a great instrument, and has been recently setup and had the electronics professionally serviced. The volume knob had begun to act screwy, and has been replaced. Everything works as it should. The quilt on this demon is beyond belief; and if that makes you afraid to touch the instrument for fear of damaging the finish, I have good news. On the back of the lower horn there is one dent worth mentioning, and so the first mark has been made. This is no longer a museum piece, but a real player's bass.
19 mm spacing
Tobacco burst finish
Active/passive setup
LH3 electronics, Great in your face tone which can change to fit most or all situations. I occasionally prefer it's J tone to my J bass!!!
Comes with a gig bag. You know, for hauling and such.
I'm motivated to move this guy before Friday, so I'll drop the price for serious buyers who contact me by Thursday midnight. After that, $900 firm+any shipping. LOCAL Preferred.

This not quite what you are looking for? I also have a G&L L-2000 Tribute for sale here as well.

Fine print: Cash/Money order/ Paypal only; this means no checks, personal or otherwise. No shipping before Monday. No trades, cash is king, unless it's toward a Dingwall. Void where prohibited.

bump for the best bang-for-the-buck 5er around, in the same color/fingerboard combo I once had (I'm not playing 5s at the moment).

Mid to low 9s for weight... Much better than my J, but a little more robust than my G&L.

Also, this is the same Bass that Tampa is talking about. He's the previous owner. Talkbass Pedigree!!!

Weird ol' Portland OR

Also, I have two offers pending, but no hard commitments. First $$$ walks away with the Lakie.

heh, that IS my old bass. And, yes, the finish is dazzlingly beautiful. And, as I said, it's a great player. That mark on the back of the lower horn (there when I bought it) was the only cosmetic blemish, and not at all visible from the front. beautiful bass.
