Lakland 55-02 perfect condition. Black w/ rosewood

Selling my beloved Lakland 55-02. I believe it's a 2007...at least that's when I bought it. Could be a 2006 model. Has the Lakland electronics. All stock. Black with rosewood fingerboard.
This bass plays like a dream! I have the action set really low and it almost plays itself. I was playing it just now and was thinking that I'm going to really regret the sale in the near future! I'm looking for a Ken Smith and would like to have the funds available when something pops up.
I have pics available...couldnt get them to post for some reason. Shoot me a message and I'll send them to you.
$950 Shipped
your choice of brown tweed or Road Runner black and red gig bag.

I would hope it's not the deluxe, you'd never see the quilted top under the black paint.

Yeah...I'm guessing standard. Maybe there is some killer grain under that black paint though!!
Lemm know if you have any other questions...

I was playing it for quite a while last night. Man...this thing is SOOO comfortable and easy to play. I'm just ready to try some other things and now is the time to do it. If I could afford to keep it I would. Believe me!

Also...shoot me an offer. Only trades are still for a Ken Smith. Any Ken Smith will be considered as long as it sounds good and plays good!

Bump for an amazing musician! If I knew that the bass would sound as good when I played it, I'd pay $100 more than you're asking, but my bass sounds better when jbiz plays it too.
Happy Xmas and good luck with the sale~

Thanks Nate...you're far too nice! Just played last Saturday at Crave with Russ and Barry Alexander. Man...those dudes can jam! Make me FEEL like a good musician!
Gotta get this sold so I can get a Ken Smith to try out. Never even touched one but I can tell it's just my style...

I'll have to check that on the bathroom scale later this afternoon. Not heavy at all if that helps ya! WAAAAAY lighter than my 4 string '75 reissue jazz that's for sure!

I used to have 55-02D and it sure was much lighter than fender Jazz 4.
Has it been Pleked?

Don't know about it being plek'd. Not sent in for it anyway...may have been before it was sent to the store that I bought it from.
