Lakland 55-02 Sunburst Quilt Deluxe

Up for sale or trade is my lovely 55-02 in quilted sunburst deluxe top and bright Maple fretboard. Bottom line is that I'm realizing I'm just not a 35" scale guy. So I'm letting this one go. Really, really wish a 34" scale 55-02 was made.

Bass is in excellent condition and will ship with Lakland hardshell case. No damage or cracks or dents on the bass. It truly is an amazing instrument. Incredible tone and extremely flexible pre and Bartolini pickups. I used to think a G&L L2500 I once owned was the most versatile bass I had ever played. That was until I played the 55-02. Excellent punch and clarity and wonderful B string. You know, what Lakland is known for.

You and me both. I tried to like a 55-02 but just couldn't. 34" 5 string is limiting. Sadowsky, Musicman and Fender. If they can make them, why can't everyone else.
